NOW FULL: LifeCraft Summer Reading Group: Hannah Coulter
May 31-June 28, 2023 | Online via Zoom
Join John in reading and discussing one of Wendell Berry’s great novels this summer!

This reading group is now full. Join us next time!
What is it?
John will lead 3 online sessions about Hannah Coulter. You read the book at a reasonable pace on your own, then get together in an online room for a brief presentation and discussion. You can participate in discussion, ask questions, or just listen. You also get simple reflection questions that help guide your reading.
Why do it?
Because you’ve wanted something that makes you read a great book in a reasonable length of time. The reflection questions help you focus and consider various aspects of the text. And of course it’s fun and enriching to get together and hear the thoughts of the leader and other participants.
How to join?
Simply send us an email using the form above to let us know you plan to take part. You may wish to order a copy of Hannah Coulter (or you can check it out from the library). We’ll email you the Zoom links, discussion questions, and any additional info you need in May.

About Wendell Berry:
Wendell Berry is a Kentuckian, farmer, and social critic. A lover of local community and its unique place in human life, he has challenged Americans to look again at our economic and cultural practices. His fiction about life in twentieth century Kentucky fairly shines with a realism and authenticity that can be breathtaking. It provides a powerful lens through which to consider our own lives. Hannah Coulter is a wonderful example of his fiction and raises thoughtful questions about relationships and household.
