Bacon From Acorns is now LifeCraft.

Today I am very happy to share two announcements:

Before next Wednesday LifeCraft will have a new look. For several months I have been working with the great team at Enable Web Design to make Bacon be more attractive and user friendly.

This week a completely redesigned Bacon will go live. We have sought to make its look a better expression of its content and its goals. We want a reader to have an immediate sense of peace and confidence that there is a wisdom that speaks to our deepest needs and concerns.

A further goal, towards which we will continue to work, is to make content from previous years more easily accessible.

Other plans include short videos (5-10 minutes) on pressing issues, such as “Finding a Hearth in Your Home” and “How to be Intentional.”

One aspect about the redesigned site I am most excited about is the Bethany Weekend page. It will have easy online application for upcoming Bethany Workshops. I am pleased to announce today the dates and topics of the next three Workshops, for which you can apply when the site goes live later this week.

  • July 28-29 Virtue and the Good Life
  • August 4-5 Friendship and the Good Life
  • October 27-28 The Intentional Household

Each workshop has a focus on formation, fellowship, and hospitality. There will be more details and testimonials at the new page.

Finally, next week the first Wednesday Quote at the new page will be the next installment in the series on Stress.

Thank you so much for your interest in this series, and in Bacon, whether for the last several weeks or for the last several years. I deeply appreciate how you have joined me in this project.

With very best wishes to you all,

John
