Doing Music and Dance Right in Our Homes and Communities

Music, song, and dance are essential cultural expressions. But our common practices in these areas, even among well-meaning people, are often not what they should be. For instance, parents struggle to grasp and explain the profound implications of what music we and our children listen to. Similarly, how the young and old dance, or don’t dance, at weddings, and in our schools and parishes often falls by default into common negative practices. This LifeCraft Day offers an alternative of beauty, dignity, and joy. Our two lectures give principles and concrete applications for daily life in home and community as well as special celebrations such as weddings and community events. We will then have a unique experience offering the opportunity to dance or simply observe what dignified and enjoyable dance can be like. Open and suitable to anyone between the age of 17 and 97.
